The rear fan is an exhaust fan and sucks the air out of the case. The front is the intake.

Since you say that your system runs cool and you have only one HDD, you could most likely unplug the front intake fan all together. It doesn't get much quieter than that!

Thanks Kizz. Just wondering, does the cache size make a difference? Both the Samsung and WD large-capacity drives on overclockers are 8MB. Should I be looking for a 16 meg one, or would it make no difference for a server?
