Nice case you have there. 8) Also vote for window. Though, personally I must admit I've never liked that shape of window - make me feel like it's half-finish. I prefer full rectangular/square window. But that's just me. Btw, I would try a clear window then apply a tinted film - a reflective k...

Frankly, I've yet to see that difference - I've tried both thermal tapes on the same spot, the different is tiny enough to write off as sensor/reader normal fluctuation. If anything,...

I always use either mCubed or 3M thermal tape.

Don't use scotch tape on high heat area such as HSF it will get brittle and lost its glue quite quick.

IIRC, it cost me about the same i.e. USD 10 to ship via registered airmail (in bubble envelope).

It took almost a month from the day I sent it out to the day I got it back - not too bad considering airmail normally take 10 days to arrive, one way. :)

Hopefully, Scythe know what they are doing.

The easiest way to remove fan header is to use a flat head screwdriver - the jewelry type. Press it in the the tiny groove on the fan header to push down the 'locking wing' and at the same time pull out the wire. Repeat on the remaining 2 wires. Yes, 7 volt trick works. However, you might want to se...

Space-wise, yes there's enough space to mount a thin fan underneath SI-97 fin - if you want to I think there's even enough space for a normal 25mm thick fan. However, I do not know whether the mounting bracket will be able to accommodate your fan in that position or not. You may have to DIY the wire...

You should still calibrate those sensor reading. I use similar sensors, and remember that I need to take out more than 10% of the reading when I first installed T-ban a year ago. And for anyone who still have a need for wire fan grill to protect your kids/pets, you can raise the wire grill from fan a bit (I use MB standoff between fan and wire grill), as well as taking out some 'rings' of the wire grill (I took out 2nd and 4th rings). I found this help improve airflow as mea...

If I remember correctly (it's long time ago that I use MB with on board graphic), you have to disable onboard VGA through Device Manager -> Property of Display Device then choose disable it in one of the pull-down menu.

Might worth a try.

Totally agree with vertigo on No-No for installation when PC is on.

Just throwing a stupid/obvious question here - have you disabled the onboard VGA when installing the AGP card? Another thing to check is IRQ conflict.

What kind of thermal grease you use?

Anyway if other solutions don't work, consider this ArctiClean which seems to get good praise from many places. I've never used it myself as Isopropyl Alcohol always works for me even on external surface of my LianLi case.

Good luck.
