Re: Not coil, it's a Buzzer.

In another forum, I commented that this was a stupid design, more like a piezo buzzer, than a coil, then someone else pointed out the obvious: It is a piezo buzzer! Loading must be causing a voltage ripple being picked up by the buzzer circuit, stuffing it with foam solves the noise problem, but I ...

It's a VFD panel, so it has very wide viewing angles. So you will see it from above with no problems.

I think you mean with the mobo mounted on the left side of the case, not the RIGHT side (this is also a joke about driving in the UK). Yes. :) Anyway, ths S1 it's not good for this setup, that's why the TR HR03 is better. The pci card wouldn't need any cooling (sound card, tv tuner, etc), but the s...

Errr, i don't get it. :( Why the IO shield would be facing the front of the case? :?: Look at some cases with an upside down mobo, the best example would be the Lian Li A05. Anyway, i don't think any of this setups would work with a 8800GT card, because of the heat. The 120 fan would not be efficien...

How about putting the mobo upside down? This way the cpu wouldn't get the gpu's heat, but the other way around. Consider that the cpu's heat is much lower than the gpu (8800gt). You could say that now all the heat of the system will heat up the gpu, but keep in mind that the 120mm fan will suck out ...

I'm interested in a Ninja vs Ninja Mini test, both with a 120mm fan @1000 rpm, at 5-10cm distance, pushing air into the Ninjas. I'm very curious by how much the Mini Ninja is behind the big Ninja, in such a setup. Anyone has any ideas?

The thing is not all scroll wheels are the same, so you might improvise, depending on the mouse model.

I think you could seal it, so no dust can enter. That's not the issue though, the real issue is that you can't have a power hungry system, especially a hot video card (8800gt?), because the heat will rise up (psu->gpu->cpu), so it's not good. :( But for a htpc system, it should work ok. :)

I've read this thread, and the answer seems to be that it's safe, but i wanna know for sure from someone. :)

I had 2 Seasonic psus in the past, one 400w and one s12. Both had coil noise. I bought a Antec Neo 430HE, and is dead silent.

This is only my experience, so take it with a grain of salt.

Because i can get only eVGA ones, my 7900GT was also an eVGA and it died and the shop i bought from doesn't have 7900GT, so it replaces mine with a 8600GTS, also eVGA.

The inverter or the light tube? And if they get hot, why are they called "Cold cathode lights"?
