There probably is something wrong with mine, but since the card can OC well enough already and it hasn't burned up yet, I'm not gonna worry about it. Besides, why would I want it to be louder?

If you're looking for maximum performance AND quiet, there is the option of high-performance solid-state drives..... Basically PCI cards with a huge bank of RAM chips and a battery to keep them from losing data when the power is off. Be ready to shell out a few grand for any decent amount of storage...

I have only tried the VGA Silencer (and it works great), but most reviews say they're pretty close in terms of cooling. Iwould think the Zalman is more dependent on case airflow.

Besides, it's already pretty close, there's not gonna be very much hot air leaking back into the case. The small amount that does, isn't gonna impact your temps.
