The literature on the product page suggests that they are intended to minimize airflow resistance, but this seems odd given that they serve to add kinks in the ai...

Stopping fan with ATI Tool [HIS X800Xl]

I think i can have it idle at around 50, which is still very safe i know, with the fan of. Would the rest of the card heat up to much, is i bad for the fan to have i...

Cooling solution for Socket A

I'm looking for a cooling solution for a athlone xp 2500 mobile on a Asus A7N8X-E DLX mobo.
I have a thermaltake volcano 12 that i could use, not sure what its like other than it sounding like a hoover with the fan at full tilt.
So, new fan or HS & Fan combo?

I hadn't taught of it like that, leaving the front open, it was more of a feature to break up what could endup being a piece of wood. Leaving vent on both sides of the unit was also an option. Or building in such a way that the pc part is at the bottom and leaving a slot/hole underneat for ventilati...

Do you notice a hit in battery life with the fans constantly running?
One of the reasons i got my M6Va (same laptop as V70Va) was for the spec and the battery life.
