I finally found some noise blocking headphones more in my budget which are said to sound good, creative labs ep630's. Up here they're available at tigerdirect and ncix . Since they're also very portable, and because I just got an iaudio g3, I ordered a pair of them. They're probably not too good for...

Anyone know about how keyboard & #pad keymapping works?

I got this idea for a set of ergonomic typing devices that i'd like to try out: a belkin nostromo n52 in one hand together with something else in the other. The best idea I have for the second thing is a numeric keypad rotated 90 degrees. That would give me 18 keys in the left hand, including the d-...

Yup, it's not the law of the strongest anymore, it's the law of the richest, that's the foundation of capitalism. Nope, it is the law of the laziest. Most people don't read contracts because they are too lazy, whether it is with recording studios, loan papers, rental agreements, etc. Don't f...

They accept the lousy contracts, because they can't understand them completely due to not speaking legalese(okay, and because they're foolish, and eager to be propaganda tools). In this "free society" of yours, the biggest right you have is the right to hire lawyers. If you can't afford a good team ...

Because of the stranglehold the big whatever-number have on the industry. Because of the huge cut that excecutives and their cronies take. Not true. * Learn to use your left hand for your mouse sometimes (eg. browsing), to give your right hand a rest. I don't think that going to work very well with a mouse designed for a right hand, or if there's not much room to the left of the keyboard. So, again, the question is whether two mice, ie. a mouse...

Finger-wear-out and things that can be done about it

I've heard plenty of stories about people getting serious medical problems from extensive use of keyboards and mice(among other things). I know we've discussed fancy ergonomic keyboards and related stuff a couple of times before, and while I'm sure some are very good, they're far too expensive for m...

Necromancy isn't neccessarily ressurecting the dead, you have to be good at it to do that, it can also be just briefly animating the dead. Since no one likes the Alteration by the above definition, I guess it should instead have been "derailing threads". I see no one has yet admited to their appreci...

Also, Seagate said they'd be making 2.5 inch desktop/appliance drives. I would expect that those would be as thick as savvios. They seem to really be dragging their feet about it though.
