Well the original topic was about the 9600 Non-pro which comes stock fanless (and I agree is a great card (PS, dont get 256mb version)).

I doubt the second two options are worth the effort. The zm80c would be best.

Yeah tb2496, what were you thinking :x (lol, I didnt even notice  )

I thought you were saying it had built-in fan control like the aopen boards. I'm pretty sure both can be controlled by speedfan, but neither have it built-in.

Not sure where you read the fan control part, but the only thing it would be missing is the adapter. There isn't much difference between the two, but now that I have the NF7-S, I wish I had the other. The ATX power socket is in a better location and the NB is already fanless. You also get 4 SATA con...

Another... wood case design

It might be a little difficult to tell where everything is in these pics. Edit: Removed pics, newer ones below I want to bring the height down to not much higher than the mobo and widden the base a little. The PSU is vertical above the PCI cards. The lower front blue thing will be a shroud with a fi...

Mine are all cablegamied now, I was just looking for a different way of hidding the cables. Im not too impressed with SATA either right now. The cables are way too rigid and the connectors barely stay into place. How many wires are in those cables?

Well maybe Im missing something. I thought the interference was from not having a ground next the data wire. This way there are 4 sets of 20, and each data wire should have a ground next to it. Is there that much interference from being stacked? I havent actually used is yet, just tried it on an old...

DYI rounded IDE cables

I forget where I read this. It may have been here. I didn't realize how well this worked until I actually tried it. If you are having a REALLY hard time mastering cablegami and think your IDE cables are in the way, try slicing them apart in groups of 20. You'll end up with 4 small flat sections that...

Each line has 12v (yellow) and 5v (red). With the two grounds in between. If you swap the pins in the 4pin fan connector, the fan will use the 5v instead of the 12v. Easily done with a small flat head screw driver.

Ask if you need more details.

Is the arrow looking thing the direction of airflow? If it is, it would be better the other way. Also, since you are building it from scratch, you should consider designing air channels. That way you could probably cut one of the fans. How will you be cooling the CPU and how much heat will it dissip...
