I finally bought this controller, Akasa Fan control Jr, and it's very good.
But i want to remove the plastic knobs, but they are stuck there; didn't pull them too hard though. Can they be removed without breaking them? I want to change the aluminium faceplate with one from my lian li case...

Sweed indeed. First 3rd party cooler for 8800. One thing bothers me is those "flat memory heatsinks", look kinda small... :?

Samsung HD321KJ vs HD300LJ. Any audible difference?

I have the HD300LJ version and is pretty noisy, not the idle noise but the very high level of vibration it gives and loud seeks. AAM is not enabled i think...

Is the 321KJ version different? Any better alternatives?

Try Hardware Sensors Monitor v4.2.4.2 or newer, works for my 7900GT where Speedfan or MBM or whatever didn't work. But it's not freeware...:(

Yeah, and the cool thing about this case is that lian li left some spaces between the mobo tray and the top and bottom panels..:D Just enough for a hdd (bottom) or a fan (top).

This is what i will do to this case, if anyone is interstead. I will make some soft mounting system for 2 hdd at the bottom of the case, to benefit from the 120mm rear fan. Maybe some No Vibes III? For the exhaust, i will make a home made blower fan, similar to what Bluefront has done here: http://w...

Front of the case, under the hdd cage. Also, on lian li site it says it has 2 fans, but on newegg it says it has only 1 120mm.

Anyway, some heavy dampenings is required for the aluminium panels....

Do you know where i can buy, in the US, some "M-Cubed attenuators"? Also, do you use by chance this combo (Lian li fan controller and Nexus fans), without the attenuators? Are Nexus fan affected by PWM noise?

No, from the specs there are 2x 120mm fans. One of them is behind the hdds i think, in front of the case, as a exhaust fan.

This one:

I wonder if it has PWM drawbacks, like making fans noisy?
Also, does anyone knows the adjustable voltage range of this controller?

All the slot fans i've seen (for ex this lian li blower fan: http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Accessories/Other_Blower_fan.htm) , have diferent types of blades than a regular fan... Asus P5B in a upside down case (Silverstone TJ06)

I have a Silverstone TJ06 case (mobo is upside down) and i'm worried the NB heatpipe system wouldn't work. Has anyone this kind of configuration?

ps: the heat pipes on my VM-102 video card cooler are working fine though...
