The fan on your ninja should be pulling enough air over the ram to cool it - so I do not think that is the issue - it may just be that your particular ram runs a bit warm ! You have more airflow in your case than I have in any of mine - and you 8800gts would be putting little extra heat into the cas...

If the ram is not getting any airflow over it , it will get very hot . Without seeing your layout it is hard to say , but it can be an issue .
