Hi, how high power and +12v amp rails should I be looking at for use with an A64 3k+ and two 80 gig hard drives in raid 0?

I would need an equal or greater frontal intake fan than the rear if I were to avoid opening up more holes though, right?

I have abit of dust collecting near my optical drives (case is 3700amb), and I'm guessing it's because the frontal filter at front is reducing air intake (I blocked the hole at bottom). Would putting a fan behind the filter at the front help suck in enough air to reduce the amount of air being pulle...

When you were doing this mod, did the metal connector that holds the pin ever get loose (due to "picking" at it to get the red cable out)? If so, what did you use to tighten it?

Hello, I've been looking for another CPU/Mobo combo that wouldn't use too much electricity. I'm considering perhaps an AMD Barton 2700+ as they are quite cheap right now and are unlocked. The mobo on my mind is the Albatron KX18D PROII, but I'm not exactly sure of it's undervolting/clocking options....

Frosty: Yes, IMO a Panaflo 120mm "low" at 5v is pretty quiet, I doubt you will notice it when your using your computer.

You'd want to go with the Seasonic's, unless you can keep the case temp relatively low...not sure what the minimum temp would be to keep it inaudible either. The Super Tornado would be preferable over the Super Silencer.

USPS is the cheapest (best ) when shipping from US to Canada. I haven't had to pay customs yet; just $12 (CDN) for shipping small packages and that's it. Sometimes takes a while though...

Also depends somewhat of the temperature inside your system. Katanaman had a good airflow design so that might of helped the fortron decide how much air to push.
