Seasonic 330, 380, or 430?

I read the Seasonic 330 review here on SPCR, and it's actually discouraged me somewhat from using it for my planned AM2 system. I'd think that about 300W is more than enough for an X2 4600, GeForce 7600, 3 HDD, up to 4GB RAM, and a couple of PCI cards, so I wouldn't want more wattage than I need (ge...

Try the Hoojum Cubit. Very pretty, though somewhat limited in terms of internal components. You'd want to switch fans right away for example, as the chassis design doesn't look inherently silent.

Cutting a Ninja down to size

I'm rather disappointed to see that it doesn't look like Scythe is offering a socket AM2 version of the Ninja. Now, I ran across a thread on these forums that suggested there's a Thermalright bracket of some sort (Rev. B) that actually works with the Ninja to make it compatible with AM2. But, I'm mu...

I've seen a couple of good take-apart performance reviews, one at ArsTechnica , and the other one at AnandTech , though the AnandTech article has little to say about noise, other than it's quieter than the PowerPC version, and mostly HDD noise is audible. Both reviews indicate that it doesn't look l...
