Re: Noiseblocker NB-eLoop 120mm fans

Noiseblocker place the eLoop series in the premium-class, same as BlackSilentPro. The major point of the eLoop fans, from what I can gather, is a reduction of the aerodynamic flow induced noise*.

Re: SilverStone Temjin TJ04-E Evolution Case

I apologize for my Danish idiom. I'm glad to see that manufacturers such as SilverStone are present in computer hardware websites such as SPCR. Ironic? If silverstone was in contact with SPCR they would be able to make the ultimate ATX, mATX and ITX cases. Unfortunately they probably arent. Suppose...

Check the wikipedia link that HFat posted and you could also have a look at this page, for instance, to see some examples of various MiniPCIe cards.

Re: Fan Roundup #6: Scythe, Noiseblocker, Antec, Nexus, Ther

Does anyone know how these results apply when it comes to case fans? It seems to me that a case fan would require much less static pressure and more airflow. I'm a bit surprised that there wasn't a test procedure designed to test performance when mounted as a case fan since it should be different c...

But in reality, if I where about to by one of the monitors on that list I doubt I'd get anyone but the Dell U2412M.

Just a thought; if you have the power-saving functions set to auto maybe they get's disabled once you start to alter the clock ratio and/or the voltage settings.

Palit is the parent company of Gainward, but their products are not the same. However, there is a Palit graphic card with basically the same cooler as on the Phantom cards from Gainward; this one.

Re: 7870 or 7850, can the former be cooled quietly?

The frame that surrounds the GPU of the 78XX cards are basically the same as on earlier Radeon cards as opposed to the frame on 79XX cards. So the cooler on the 78XX cards does not, AFAICT, need any bump in the cooler base. That's why Arctic can list their coolers as compatible with 7870/7850. Compa...
