Does anyone know of how the motherboards that have the VIA Envy24 sound integrated into them compare with the cards mentioned here? I would think they would be similar seeing that they all use the Envy24.

I think there are many access points that cost much less than $150. There are even wireless routers that go for less than $50. Example. But if you want point-to-point you can. I think the setting is called ad hoc.

Try holding the fan with your hands in the position where it needs to go. That way you will be sure resonance is not an issue. See if the fan still causes excess noise then.

Does your 9100 have holes for the heatsinks you mentioned? I remember seeing a 9100 that didn't have holes. If it does have the appropriate holes the $30 Zalman is probably the best choice.

And crappier. They use a Fixed Point pipelines for pixel shaders where ATI uses floating point. This might cause FX to be quicker in apps that uses FP since ATI emulates FP with floats. But floats are much better in several ways. More precision and the circuit design becomes more clean. And one imp...

Antec Sonata Drive Stuck

I have a Plextor CD burner in my Sonata. It is stuck in the drive bay. My Toshiba DVD-ROM comes out easily. I was able to remove the Plextor by pushing it really hard into the case instead of pulling it out. It caused some scratches on the drive and drive bay. I then put the Plextor in a different d...

The GMC case has a sound selector that allows you to plug inputs and outputs from any sound card into it. I need something like that for my Sonata except I don't need the selector portion of it. I just need a bracket that can adapt regular minijack input to something that is compatible with the head...
