@ elpibe, Incredible boxes you have there. That's a small fortune! The black Altium VR1000 is one nice case. Thanks :) I'm currently contemplating whether to add the WiNDy Cube Energy MC3 to my collection. Would love to have a NAS at home although I don't really need it :? -------------------------...

I've tried SI-128, SI-128SE, Andy and Noctua NH-C12P and the one with the best performance is the SI-128SE. It easily beats the Andy by 2 to 3 deg C * and the Noctua by 1 to 2 deg C * * tested with Scythe Kaze Jyuni 800rpm fan (installed inside a case) There are a lot of people out there who are con...

I didn't, that's why I asked for the back story. I figured that someone in the retails sales business wouldn't be that nasty without some sort of good reason. I believe it was a joke, sort of. But I think there was a serious point there. If you live in a place that SVC does not sell to, then you would get refused a sale. Also, if you have a bad credit history or a history of challenging credit charges, the order might be declined. I think most of you mis...

Re: SVC.com- Very disapointing. Will not shop there again.

There's obviously more to the story than just this one email. Where you trying to order a bunch of Thermaltake stuff from them? Why don't you fill in the details a bit. There isn't any. It was just a simple online order placement worth about US$110 followed by an e-mail confirmation of the order an...

That's weird that the seek noises are rated as louder for the 500GB one. Maybe the added density of the extra platters deadens the seek noise a bit? Or perhaps its the louder idle noise that is masking the seek noise a bit? -Ed It's because the 500GB version doesn't have this : StableTracâ„¢ - The ...

It is not available outside Japan I'm afraid.

The only way to get hold of one is to ask someone in Japan to purchase on your behalf and ship it to you.
