Definitely.
Just to make sure, how many amps are available on the +12V rail?

Amazing review, took me a very long time to read it in depth, and I applaud all you guys for your efforts, thanks so much for producing the "P180 Handbook" as somebody put it earlier. The case looks awesome (I must get my hands on the black SPCR version), but I am only concerned by one thing... and ...

That's a really big heatsink.
I did a similar job on an old 8500LE I had in this thread here. Runs great passively.

Enough talk, let's see some examples! Basic AMD boxed thermal solution. http://ww2.teamdr.net/korruption/images/95sm.jpg http://ww2.teamdr.net/korruption/images/96sm.jpg These next three show how sensitive Thermaltake heatsinks can be to dust. Question, though I'm sure it affects other cases that feature this layout also. What about PSUs that have shorter ATX 20/24-pin main connections? I know for a fact that the OCZ Modstream (though not the quietest PSU) doesn't have very long of an ATX main. Going from the bottom of the case all the wa...

Any word on who produces the capacitors? Rubycon? I believe Sanyo and Luxon may also be Japanese. Thanks. The ones I can see in the pics are Chemi-Con. Very nice. And Luxon is the absolute bottom of the barrel in Taiwanese crap. Sanyo, Rubycon, Chemi-Con, and Panasonic are the only acceptable brand...

Just to add to this thread, another review on another case, but the same reviewer: While reviewing the Titan 550 I was a bit disappointed in the inability to mount my ATX motherboards as I looked forward to using the case for my own system. I talked to Antec's developement team and was told that sta...

With GPUs getting as hot as they are, it makes more sense in thermal terms to have the heatsink base sitting right up against the GPU core. Adding a heatspreader does add protection and durability to the design, but they can also keep heat in at times. Even Northbridges today are looking a lot like ...

Does anyone know any way that I can be sure this card is toast? I tried it in another computer and had the same result. That's pretty good indication that it's dead. I RMA'd a 9700 Pro to ATI for the exact same reasons. I put the shim back on and the stock heatsink - they didn't seem to care. Sent ...

Antec Titan 550 Server case doesn't fit ATX boards?!
http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=91550 Reading this review leads me to believe that this is strictly a server case. I like the look of it, the noise properties of the steel and the fan setup look quite attractive also. Antec is making a huge mistake by not allowing ATX boards to mou...

Not much mention of the Swiftech MCX159, but I hope to have it working with a Radeon X800XL + VF700-Cu. The footprint that the MCX159 occupies doesn't look very large, perhaps very comparable to the Zalman NB47J. The obvious advantage is that the nF4 chip will be running much cooler thanks to the mu...

It's worse than an abominable product - it's not even original! It looks like a rip-off of the Asus Star Ice. http://uk.asus.com/products/pccomponents/cooler/gaming/starice/overview.htm# I'm reasonably sure that the Star Ice is based on one of the Thermaltake towers... so I don't know who's ripping...

I have a Be Quiet!, wich i have understood has TAGAN internals. It is a Topower model. Tagan purchases PSUs directly from the manufacturer, Topower, and resells them as Tagan PSUs. I really like how they look inside. Topower also manufactures the OCZ Powerstream and Modstream lines. Topower's high-...
