Definitely.

Just to make sure, how many amps are available on the +12V rail?

Gerbil, you've got the AlCu version... aluminum fins are always much easier to bend. I will likely get the full copper version - the fins may not be as flexible.

Amazing review, took me a very long time to read it in depth, and I applaud all you guys for your efforts, thanks so much for producing the "P180 Handbook" as somebody put it earlier. The case looks awesome (I must get my hands on the black SPCR version), but I am only concerned by one thing... and ...

That's a really big heatsink.

I did a similar job on an old 8500LE I had in this thread here. Runs great passively.

One thing I don't like about most Abit boards is that they have the floppy connector in the worst place. I don't know if I'll be using a floppy in the future, but c'mon!

The AN8 Ultra really has my interest. I'm just wondering if that heatpipe + radiator combo will work. That's quite a long way for the heat to go before it can get dissipated. Putting on a better thermal solution means you lose the adacent PCI-E 1x slot, but you still have one left.

Hmmmmmm.

That is a long heatpipe! Quite possibly the most visually dominating part of the whole motherboard.

Question, though I'm sure it affects other cases that feature this layout also. What about PSUs that have shorter ATX 20/24-pin main connections? I know for a fact that the OCZ Modstream (though not the quietest PSU) doesn't have very long of an ATX main. Going from the bottom of the case all the wa...

With GPUs getting as hot as they are, it makes more sense in thermal terms to have the heatsink base sitting right up against the GPU core. Adding a heatspreader does add protection and durability to the design, but they can also keep heat in at times. Even Northbridges today are looking a lot like ...

Antec Titan 550 Server case doesn't fit ATX boards?!

http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=91550 Reading this review leads me to believe that this is strictly a server case. I like the look of it, the noise properties of the steel and the fan setup look quite attractive also. Antec is making a huge mistake by not allowing ATX boards to mou...

Not much mention of the Swiftech MCX159, but I hope to have it working with a Radeon X800XL + VF700-Cu. The footprint that the MCX159 occupies doesn't look very large, perhaps very comparable to the Zalman NB47J. The obvious advantage is that the nF4 chip will be running much cooler thanks to the mu...

Typically you would need to remove the motherboard, as you need access to the back of the board to compress the plastic pinheads.
