If the hard drive whine is getting to you, you may have to replace it. You could try the Hitachi/IBM software tool, but that seems to be more effective at the "click-click" associated with reading. fan modding psu's
I wen through a similare process - swapping out fans to quiet PSU's I wouldn't reccemmend t panaflo L1A on a PSU - it doesn't move neough air. The PABST and PC Power Cooling 80 mm's have turned out to be better choices for me. The best combination seems to be 2-3 fans running at a reduced speed. I e...
