If you look at the Panasonic web site, they don't list the model numbers for the 3 wire versions. They just say it is an option. I suspect it is an option on any of the fans if you place a large enough order with Panasonic.

I am not concerned about changing the fan on the Zalman 7000 right away, but might need to later on. If I knew that it could easily be done, that might change my decision about the Zalman HSF.
