Power Supply Fan

Post by Skirecs » Sun Oct 24, 2004 6:18 pm

Ive got my HDD quiet enough, and fan to a tolerable level so now the only thing is the Power fan which is high pitched and peircing, if not outright loud. Is there a way to slow that fan, or deaden the noise?

Replace it with a quieter power supply, or replace the fan.

For an excellent understanding of PSUs in general, and specific answers about quieting your PSU, read the sticky threads at the top of the PSU Forum.

Replace the fan(s) with a 120x38 fan @ 5V?

Make a voltage regulator to control the fan?
