hmm, weird slight buzzing when games start

(and when games continue running, ie it starts up and stays on when i load guild wars)

the 2 case fans aren't the source of the buzzing, i don't think it's hd vibration since the hd isn't accessed all the time compared to the sound being on all the time with a game running

i think i can safely ignore it since the system is -nearly- silent and i wouldn't hear it with headphones anyways

i think it might be the cpu fan, but it doesn't seem to make sense (arctic silencer 64 ultra) --why would it start/stay with the game?

the video card is fanless so i don't think it's the cause but it'd be the first culprit if it weren't fanless

uh, odd. doesn't buzz with world of warcraft but buzzes with guildwars.
gonna take hd cage out and see if it's the hd.

It's from the psu electronics 99.9% sure...I've encoutered this problem myself with different PSUs...Or from the mobo, but my bet is on the psu.

yeah, it could be coil whine/buzz, likely from the PSU, but other parts in your system (ie. mobo) can be a potential source.

Coudl also be the monitor too. I know my CRT buzzes a bit sometimes.
