El cheapo hard drive suspension

Post by El_Duderino » Thu Jan 30, 2003 10:06 am

Hi,

The main problem with a relatively speaking drive such as a cuda seems to be the vibrations it creates. So why not just suspend it in the case using some strings? If it is suspended with strings from above and stabilized by strings from two sides it shouldn't dangle too much...

Too risky?

Anyone tried anything similar to this?

It is quite effective for vibration to use the stretch cord and suspend your Hard drive.
