Adaptor to use notebook CD-ROM on standard IDE
Does anyone know if there is an adaptor out there that would let me use a notebook CD drive on a standard desktop? I want to build get a SFF. Since I have a dead notebook computer, I want to reuse some of the parts. Also, since it smaller, I have more space inside and that should make it easier to cool.

I have seem them everywhere, just use google and do a search. Most laptop CD/DVD has the same IDE plug. There are a few slightly different but a lot are the same.IceFire wrote:Does anyone know if there is an adaptor out there that would let me use a notebook CD drive on a standard desktop?
