Here's a link to a review.

Looks like it's built to compete with the ATI Radeon 9100 and has DX9 support.

Looks good. Lets see if it performs though.

Nope.
This has about half the FPS performance compared to my Radeon 9500Pro. It'll get no love from me! :P
Although it does go head to head with the Radeon 9000Pro and 9100 (and the same price +/-)

damn, why doesnt nvidia make a move. They should release a card that will push ati back to being second best(at least at gaming). They keep releasing cards that cost the same or more than something ati already has out.

Nvidia ran into severe fab and design problems after they commited to the Geforce FX design. Thus they had no product to release when ATI Radeon 9700 took off with the speed lead. Now the Geforce FX series is so late it's just essentially a DX9 product refresh of the existing Geforce 4 series.

nVidia are doomed if they don't do something quick. So much time, money and effort was spent producing the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra. The problem it's way too expensive, too noisy and does not compete with Radeon 9700 Pro in terms of performance.

Exactly, I would think there best move would be to drop the prices on all their cards so that people might actually consider buying nvidia cards again.

They are going to have to do some serious rethinking of their game plan over there. Ati might also be running pretty tight with things now though. Maybe they want to get a large market share and then scale back their development so people will buy Ati just because of the name. More like what nvidia has done of late.

Does anybody actually own one of these things yet? It's important to note that several models of the 5200 actually have fans, you need to choose carefully. Newegg notes that pics are for display purposes, so you need to call and check. Googlegear routinely posts MX440 card photos which show fans, but the manufacturers website shows the same model MX440 without a fan.

The one thing nVidia has in it's favor is there are quite a few people out there who simply refuse to buy ATI cards.
