Scythe consumer survey

Scythe consumer survey

Chance to win a prize yada, yada but most importantly... if everyone votes for backplate/screw as their preferred mounting method they might listen!

I know they have started to sell backplates as an accessory, but hopefully they'll always use them in the future.

Is it just me or is the 'next' and 'bac'k buttons on the webform in German?

Strange from a Asian company... :lol:

Yep, it's very strange considering the rest of the form is almost perfect English!

It's probably done by a CMS where the users can't update the button text...

Silly Germans... haven't they figured out that symbols don't require translations?

Interesting they even mention the backplate, suggests to me that they're aware that there's an issue.

I think the fact that are now selling backplates as separately suggests they're aware it's an issue for some users :P

But I'd like to see them using it as the default, which they probably won't do unless there's a majority vote for them. I'm sure there's people out there that prefer the pushpin method...

How would you rate the packaging design of Scythe products?
(1=very good, 6=very bad)
Then options from 1 to 10. :lol:
1 = Very Good.
6 = Very Bad.
10 = The End is Nigh! Your packaging is bringing on the apocalypse!

Haha, I think I mistook good for bad then. :D

Also liked this one

Do you plan to buy a Mainboard using a new Socket in 2009 and if yes, which Socket?

Option: Not planned until now

Does that mean that by voting, I now have planned to buy a new mainboard using a new Socket in 2009? Nothing better than mocking people that have worse English grammar than yourself, lol. :oops:

They've been selling it forever. People just didn't know about it until everybody has become aware of push pin issues.

Well, if you go to their website it's only fourth down on their "new release" list and it was only very recently featured in a press release email newsletter, so that's more likely why people are aware of it now. They may have been selling it for a long time but they didn't really announce it.
