How would I be able to insulate noise from the entrance door of the room (from the hallway) and the window leading outside without it being overly conspicuous?.

For doors you can also populate them with dampening material, and windows you can buy thicker glass and double, that helps a lot both ways to reduce noise.

The problem is that noise dampening also seem to hamper ventilation.
Usually door frames, and to a lesser extent window frames, are used for ventilation. Sealing them up to stop noise will then make a mess of the ventilation.

Yeah, ventilation is important. A hot office is not conducive to low fan noise.

Insulating from outdoor noise but allowing air circulation within the home is the plan.

I'm not a fan of dampening material in computer cases, but in rooms (and hallways) it works very well. Textiles, special ceiling tiles, wall hanging DIY panels, floor mats etc can be used to lower echo and noise.
