After a long hiatus from this site, I come back and find you have outdone yourselves again. I have learned tons and tons from this site and appreciate your efforts to further efforts in defeating noise! Actually, its funny, at times I dont know whether to thank you or curse you for the help this site has been with bringing peace and quiet to my computers. Now, when I use noisy comps (and they are everywhere!), I feel like I'm getting brain damage! :shock:

Yep. But then we'd have to start worrying about the effects of large magnetic fields on performance and measurements. Microphones can be adversely affected by magnetic fields ... but I'm not sure whether a maglev system would be on that scale or not.
