Re: SilverStone Kublai KL05 Budget ATX Case
I think this case is definitely meant to be a budget water cooled case.
280 rad in the top, and/or 240/280 in front. And the 5 1/4 bays to support a reservoir/fan controller etc.

Thanks for the good work, Lawrence.Lawrence Lee wrote:http://www.silentpcreview.com/SilverStone_Kublai_KL05

Probably: for air cooling maybe an Antec VSP5000 or an Antec P70 could turn out as more valuable options.

The interior of this case looks very much like the Corsair Spec-02 I just used in a build.
The Corsair's side panels are bubbled outward to provide additional space for cable routing and for heat sink clearance.
Got it on a sale at Microcenter for $20 less also.

G'day all,
I know I'm coming late to the game, but how much clearance is there between the top fan mounts and the cover? For example, would a 60mm thick 280mm radiator fit inside the cover?
Thanks

Sorry for replying late too! There is about 50mm of room under KL05's top cover for radiator mounting. So you would likely have to mount that radiator to the front of the case instead.Shobai wrote:G'day all,
