How much more width would the Strix 980 have needed?

Wouldn't two intake fans and perhaps a closed top make more sense?

Great work as ever, Lawrence.

If you were to get rid of the oddly shaped side window, use better finished, higher quality materials; the Pandora wouldn't look out of place as an Apple Powermac concept from about five or six years ago. It really is a good looking case with some interesting design choices and I'm sure it will be pretty popular but it seems everything is compromised in one way or another... my guess would be by the price point the case is positioned at but the overall design seems a little muddled and compromised. There are also a few things that just look like bad design to my eyes.

I'd be interested to see what a larger version of the case would be like... I might just fire up Sketchup and play around a bit.

The Odd part of the side windows is where Bitfenix thinks you should mount your SSD, so you can show it off. This case is also available without side window, which is what I'd buy.

I do like the look of this case, smart and classy, and a little different.
The size constraints might be an issue, but probably overcomable. My current case is not very wide either and 120mm+ fan towers are all out so I have a Noctua NH-C14 that gives up little to the big coolers. I would think it would fit in this case, definitely with just single fan under the fins.

The video card width limit might be more of an issue, if you want a high end card in it anyway.

I would expect it to cool best with both case fans set as intakes pushing as much air through as possible, with all the restrictive filters etc removed of course.

If I were in the market for a smart mATX case this would be high on my list :)
