Time for a new Elysium Beast: V4.0

Now with 12 cores and ready for 32 drives.
The old Tyan S7025 network cards died on me during a driver update (maybe because of a shorted cable... ) so I had to think about a new hardware platform. At first I thought about dual LGA2011 but it'd cost me a lot of $$$ to get two 6-core Xeons and a good mobo, so I decided to get a last generation Supermicro LGA1366 board and two used Westmere CPUs
CPU: 2x Intel Xeon L5640 Westmere 2.267GHz 60W 6C/12T
CPU heatsinks: Scythe SCSMZ-2100 Samurai-ZZB adapted to LGA1366 Xeon
CPU Fans: Scythe stock SL9225SL12M-P
Mobo: Supermicro X8DTH-6
RAM: recycled 16384MB ECC UDIMM (planning on adding two more for 20480MB)
GPU: EVGA Geforce GT630 1GB Supercooled single-slot DIY
Storage controllers: onboard ICH10 and LSI2008, Promise EX8650 and EX16650
Storage controllers fans: 2x Scythe S-FLEX SFF80B
Bottom storage department fans: 2x Scythe SY1225SL12SL
Front 3.5" storage department and IOH fan: Noctua NF-P12-PWM
Power supply: Enermax Platimax 1000W
USB3.0: Startech professional X4 card
Firewire: IOI 2+1 ports
SSD1: OCZ RevodriveX2 100GB
SSD2: OCZ Vertex3 60GB
SSD3: OCZ Vertex2 60GB
HDD: 8xWD10EADS/EACS, 4xWD10EFRX, 4xWD5003ABYX, 4xWD2500HHTZ, 4xWD5000BEVT/BPVT
ODD: same as before, now DVD-RAM drive is USB2.0 external
Storage systems: bottom 16x3.5" SATA extreme rigidity (Promise EX16650), front 2x Icy Box IB-2222SSK SAS/SATA (8x2.5", Promise EX8650), front Lian-li modified EX-H34B SATA600 (LSI2008), side 4x2.5" SATA600 (LSI2008)
Excellent vibration dampening despite absence of suspension mounts, waiting for two more Velociraptors to make the 4x RAID0 volume.
