Antec Sonata front connections

Is it possible to disconnect the Audio and Firewire cables from the front on the Sonata too loose some cables? I tried a bit but were afriad to break the connectors which looked glued. I will never use these connections so I want to get rid of some cables!

I removed the leds that were also hotglued. What i needed to do was to rip out the glue. At least on mine there is just a trace of glue, it's not covered with it. So just grip the glue trace with fingers and bend. It should just snap. Then just unplug the connector.
