Post by Badashmods » Sun Dec 12, 2004 6:00 pm

Anyone know where to get a Soldam Altium RS10 in the US or a place that ships that model to the US?

Did you just win the lottery or something? :)

AFAIK, Soldam has never been distributed in the US, but if you can afford one of their cases, you can certainly afford to ship it here from Japan.

I know a couple people that want this case, however this model is not listed on the global soldam order site and they aren't good about returning emails.

There's not much help to give him. I told him everything I know about these cases in my first post. And with it's perforated sides, it does look like a giant filter.

You can't. They're not sold here and are hideously expensive anyway.

Price isn't the concern. The concern is that it's not listed on the US site, and I don't speak Nihongo.

I must have one! It's precious to me, yesssss, precious.

You might try asking in the Directron forums to see if they can contact Soldam. If you are looking for a door panel type like that you might try contacting Antec and other known US case companies suggesting they make a after market part like that for their popular models.

Contact them by phone. I'll bet someone there speaks English, and if you can afford the case, you can certainly afford the cost of an international phone call.

As it says on that page:

And that sounds like you fit their customer demographic.
