PROJECT UPDATE: INTAKE AREA MODIFICATIONS

I have recently completed intake modifications on "Night Wind" to dramatically increase my intake airflow on the system. Below is link and some pictures of what I have done. Feel free to comment.

nice mod but what is the purpose of the grill? it's not blocking any dust.. just air. and i personally don't like the look of it.

did your temps improve?

The grills are for looks, nothing more and my airflow has increased dramatically as a result and my temps have dropped around 2c.

I wouldn't go to that effort for the sake of 2c unless it helped me reduce noise, and by the looks of it it will let out more noise than reducing the fans can compensate for. (Also, it looks like the netting you get on some wine bottles  Why not paint it blue or black as well?)

I will say it's a very nice job, though.
