Just saw the P150 - are they kidding?

Post by mbx1 » Sun Nov 20, 2005 10:28 am

Just saw the P150 at Fryes. It's a beautiful case, wonderful design. And the quality of the finish-work (paint) is first rate.

But are they kidding? This thing is a REFRIDGERATOR! If they left the silver, but did black paint where they have white it would look amazing.

I wonder if sales on this will be so slow Antec won't think another version (color) is worth it. I have no desire to have a giant IPOD in my computer room.

Antec-rep - is there any news on either sales figures or availability of a black model?

Ever heard of the phrase de gustibus non est disputandum?

Or more appropriately, de gustibus et coloribus... I like it, personally!

I like the white. I already have plenty of black cases, and plenty of silver (3 x P180 is enough).

There may be no accounting for taste, but I'll be dammed if I will buy a new optical drive (or paint the faceplate) to match a white case. Make ‘em both and let the consumer decide.
