Where is the serial number on the P150 case?

Enclosures and acoustic damping to help quiet them.

Where is the serial number on the P150 case?

Post by b1_ » Wed Mar 29, 2006 2:37 am

I heard there are issues with the P150 case Antec NeoHE power supply and Asus boards, but if you buy a case with a serial number after november, 2005 then the problem is fixed. The date is in the serial number, but where is the serial number?

...

I think I just figured it out. It's on the PSU right? :)

Can someone post their serial number so I can give a description to my computer shop so they can check it before I buy it.

There is no case serial number. The one you're interested in is the PSU serial number. It's on the white sticker along with the bar-code. It starts with "S0..". There's a good pic here.

I'd do a bit more research on this because, IIRC, there's more to it than it just being made after 11-05.
Main Box: Intel i3-3225, Intel DH77EB, 16GB Corsair RAM, 256GB Samsung 830, SS360GP PSU, CM PS07 case.
Music Server: Intel DH77EB + i3-3220, 2xSamsung 2TB F4, Pico PSU, Fractal Define Mini, 2xScythe Fans @250 rpm.

Not necessarily. Ralf is correct. According to AntecRep, "fixed" NeoHe PSUs will have an "A3" on the white serial number label. They started to introduce the revision A3s during the month of December, but not all S0512s are A3.

It's a little confusing and mildly irritating to say the least. Good luck. :)

So I'm looking for a serial number, on the side of the PSU that looks something like S0512.....A3? Or S0601......A3?

It will look like this pic posted by AntecRep. The revision is only listed to the left of the Serial Number. An Aussie over at [H] says the Rev. A3 works great. Go read his posts starting on page 12 to page 14. I don't know if the Rev. A3s still require 1 amp on startup or not.
