Antec P180B - Color-related question

I have been looking to get a black P180, but one thing putting me off is that some of the pics I've seen on the net make it look like the aluminum face and sides are a really black while the plastic parts look like a lighter, more watered down black... I was just wondering, for those who have one or have seen one in person, whether it's just the way they photograph or if there really are two tones that noticeable. Also, does it vary from batch to batch? Thanks

I used to think exactly the same thing, but having now seen several black P180s for myself it seems the light "grey" colour is just a photographic artefact - the black plastic is indeed black. :)

Black is notoriously difficult to reproduce accurately in photos, especially when surfaces have different textures and reflect flash lighting in different ways...

I have the SPCR all-black edition. The plastic and the metal are painted the same shade of black; it's just bad lighting in the pics you've been looking at.
