HFX Mini ODM or OEM ???

Post by elg2001 » Tue Oct 31, 2006 11:41 am

Hi,
Does anyone know who the source/manufacturer of the HFX Mini cases is?

Vidabox now sells exactly the same case with their logo stamped on it, so now i'm very curious: http://www.vidabox.com/Products/STEALTH.htm

Most likely, mCubed is supplying it. The orioginal HFX was made in partnership with Silverstone. Not sure about this one, but pretty high likelihood. I think mCubed would retain exclusive rights, tho.

so basically mCubed is the one who rebranded it for VidaBox?

It's SUCH a nice case. I'm definetely getting one, but I was just hoping to find a U.S. manufacturer or retailer to get it for cheaper. It's way overpriced.

Update: I just found the Rainier Edition here: http://www.niveusmedia.com/products/rainier07.htm

It's the same case as the HFX Mini with different front and rear panel design as well as different side heatsinks. This case HAS to be available to purchase somewhere in the US.

The only place i found in the US was www.elgo-tech.com who just imports it from HFX. It's $1,200 for the freakin case in the way I want it. There has to be a cheaper way to get it.
