Rosewill cases
Do any of the Rosewill cases make a good foundation for a quiet PC? Rosewill makes some attractive cases and NewEgg carries many of the models.

They aren't all "dirt cheap" and more of them than not have a 120mm exhaust fan.Felger Carbon wrote:They're dirt cheap and there's nothing wrong with them for a vanilla PC, which is why they're so popular at Newegg. I don't recall that any of them support a 120mm exhaust fan, which is the basic starting point for a case that can be quiet.

You're absolutely correct and I apologize. When I was doing a complete search for all cases with 220mm side fans, I noticed one case with 713 reviews (wow!), and misremembered it as being one of the very cheap Rosewills. [It wuz a Powmax.]Megamorph wrote:They aren't all "dirt cheap" and more of them than not have a 120mm exhaust fan.

One of Rosewill's cases, this (also available in white!) one in particular is of interest. It seems to be extremely similar to Antec's popular SLK3000B, minus the re-inforcing brace that runs underneath the PSU bay. Two 120mm fans with a closed front panel that should prevent noise from getting out easily. It's dirt cheap, and comes with no power supply.
