P182 - Smart Drive 2002C or lower HD bay?

Hi all,

I have a WD 150GB Raptor and a Smart Drive 2002C. Should I put the Smart Drive in the 5.25 bay or put the Raptor in the 3.5 HD bay in the bottom compartment?

I will have nothing else in the 5.25 drive bays though I may add a Scythe Kama Bay fan to cool the Smart Drive if placed in the 5.25 bay.

Which configuration do you think will have the best balance of accoustics and thermal performance?

1. Smart Drive in 5.25
2. Smart Drive in 5.25 with Scythe Kama Bay
3. Raptor in 3.5 HD bay in bottom most compartment

What i've done was remove the aluminum tray as well as the the metal frame that holds the fan in the lower compartment so i will have the space to put 2 scythe quite drives in there.
I also added a nexus fan on the front for the hot summer days.
Overall im quite pleased silence wise and have some decent temp also.
But as Shadowknight said you can experiment with both.
