Antec P182 Case Size
Hello dudes,
In January I'm going to build my first PC.
The first thing I'm looking for is a decent Case.
Regarding MikeC review the Antec P182 is the one for me. There is only one problem. My case department in the desk is max. 49cm. and the size of the P182 is 52cm. .
Is there anybody who owns this case and can measure the case for the exact size, maybe they took a 3cm. margin .
When I remove this on the top is that making the case possible 3cm. smaller?
Is it possible to downsize the P182 3cm.? (Without taking the saw).
Anybody have experience with high-end cases not larger than 49cm.?
I like the design of this one CLICK.
Kind Regards,
jordi

PS. for those who don't know, "Holland" is the same location as "The Netherlands"
The components will be;
-Intel Quad Core Q9450
-Intel X48 Motherboard
-DDR III 2x1GB
-Hitachi SATA II 2x250GB RAID0
-WD Raptor 150GB 10k rpm (don't know for sure if it is blazing fast in comparison with the RAID0 array).
-4x case fans
-PSU (don't know how much power this rig will need).
-Nvidia 8000GT (or another equal performance card in January)
Cooling
- CPU Thermalright Ultra-120
-VGA Thermalright HR-03 GT
P.S. Sjoukew can you add me on msn so we can have a chit-chat about my new pc. I can use some advice. [email protected]

Here is a nice psu calculator which gives some indication of the amount of power a system will use.
I added the msn address to the contact list.
