Does anyone know how much space there is between the door and the bays on this case? I have a Zalman fancontroller that has around 1.5cm knobs sticking out.

I have neither part, but I have read that the Zalman does fit behind the Antec doors. Hope this helps.

It apears to be just under half an inch.

OK...I just measured it for you.
The middle of the door allows 1/2 an inch of clearance. Since the front is slightly curved, its decreases to 1/4 of an inch at the sides, which are approximately 3 inches from the center.
Good luck

Better put my thinking-cap on.

If the case rails allow it, which they usually do, mount it recessed into the case a bit. I did that with my Audigy 2 Live Drive, so the center mounted volume control buttons were flush with the rounded front bezel of my case.
Good luck,

sorry to raise an old thread...how did you get on with titting the controller in the case? I've got the same case and the same controller ordered for tommorow. Is some modding in order?

The door in the 3700 won't quite close with the Zalman Controler fited. Fortunatly you can just squeze in the catchs on the drive rails and push the controler back about an extra 1/4 in. Resonably neat and the door closes without problem

Well, I got lazy and just pushed the controller in to the case. Didnt even bother to screw it in or mod it. And I recently sold my SLK3700 to upgrade to a case with HDD mounts in the rear. Most likely I will go for the Chenbro Genie.
