Will a Thermalright HR-01 Plus fit into a Coolermaster 201 case?

yes, the heatsink will fit, however if you're using dampening material on the case panels, it may pose a problem with the fit.

however i do wonder why the 201...with only an 80mm exhaust fan.

I have a coolermaster Wavemaster, which I think has the same internal space...
I know that the cooler canÂ´t be bigger than 150mm in height, so IÂ´m not so sure the hr1 will fit...
for instance, a scythe ninja, fits barely, with the bolts touching the side panel, so look into it before buying the cooler...

I think the cooler is 160mm tall.

Why the 201? Awesome case, thats why!

I know what you mean exactly, those cases are awesome...
thats why I still hold on to my wavemaster....
the cooler won't fit... maybe you can find an old Ninja, or buy a ninja2 and remove the bolts.. that will make it fit...
coolers that I know for sure fit, are the ninja, the ninja2 (after you remove the bolts)both of them from scythe, the ultima 90 from thermalright, Zalman cnps 9700 and the nh-u 9b from noctua.
those I know first hand that fit perfectly...
but as long as its 150mm or shorter it will fit....
