Antec update

Anyone knows if Antec is planning an update to some of their cases? What is their typical update cycle?
Basically I would like to know if they are planning an update to P183, NSK3480 and possibly to the older Solo.

The NSK3480 is currently being updated but I have no idea what they are updating on it.
Looking forward to it though.

The ISK 300-65 is being updated with a 150W power supply.
Can be found on Antec's site.
I don't think the case is available yet.

I thought I read a while back that an NSK-3480 update was in the works. Can't really think of what all they could change about it, though. Only two things that come to mind immediately are (1) 120mm intake instead of 2x92mm and (2) some holes placed around the PSU and motherboard for routing cables behind the tray.

Yes those changes on the NSK3480 (which I have) will be great, in addition some SSD mounting would be nice.

As far as SSD mounting goes, just get some double-sided tape and stick it anywhere in the case it will fit.

That's the cool thing about them, you don't have to worry about heat, vibration, mounting angle, etc.

And just to make it clear, those aren't confirmed changes, but a couple things that I personally would like to see in the next revision of the NSK-3480.

agree with most of the above +
i think they should make it slightly longer so it can occupy a 3rd party powersupply and standard optical drive COMFORTABLY.

and also change the front somehow so it so plastic looking.

Regarding the NSK-3480, upgrading the front USB ports to rev. 3.0 would be a nice touch too.

+1 for usb3!

Wonder if they could do a bottom psu mount with the vent on the bottom seeing as most PSU's now have the 120mm fan config.

Anybody got any links on this one yet?

The original forum post on Hexus that mentioned a refresh was from August/September 2009 (so half a year ago). Any ideas on when the updated case for the NSK 3480 is going to come out? I'm getting close to ordering my components, but it would be a shame to pull the trigger right before an update.

Hi Ghitz!

As far as I know, the new products that are coming out in the next few months are the Dark Fleet Series (DF30 & DF85) cases and the LANboy air case. These cases are more directed towards gaming and performance with a unique feature of a 2.5" hot-swap drives on the top of the case.
