There is a lot of heat behind my pc. A thought just occurred to me. What if you make a 2 meter chimney going straight up to the ceiling, air-tight attached to the back of your computer. That should in theory create a vacuum at the bottom of the pipe as the hot air rises and thus suck in fresh air through your pc case, without a noisy fan. Good idea?
How well it works for your particular system will vary on a lot of factors. You could have a go at building a chimney with cardboard and do some tests with Speedfan, Prime95 and Furmark both before and afterwards to see if it works.
