Folding@Home Is Now Doing COVID-19

Post by NeilBlanchard » Sat May 16, 2020 5:53 am

Hi Folks,

Stanford's Folding@Home distributed computing project has been going for almost 20 years (it began October 1, 2000), and SPCR formed a team around 2004, I believe. We are #94 in the world, at the moment.

They have now added COVID-19 to the project, and there has been a large influx of new contributors. If you have a computer, especially with a decent video card - and you want to contribute, you can put in our Team number which is 31574 and your work will be included on our SPCR team.

All the other projects are very important, as well, but obviously COVID-19 has particular urgency.
Sincerely, Neil

I just completed a new and signed in with the team number. I used to do this back around 2003 but had forgotten all about it.
