You should hear the fan. I think it's actually louder than a stock P4 fan at full blast. I suppose I shouldn't expect much from it considering I paid $18.00 for the case that came with the power supply. 
This one is 165 watts, 57 watts higher than the same CPU in the Zen at default Vcore. Sure would be nice if the Zen's PSU worked on other boards so I could test it with the other motherboard just to see if the majority of my problem is in the PSU. As it is, the Intel board could be a large contributer to the problem.
