bill, this race was one for the books. I don't remember the difference going above 70 points :-)

And now, I finally discover how to keep my pally cool.... (I know I've said this 10 times already, but this time I've got it right  )

Yep.

After a slow few days :( it seems like you're away again :D

An occasional bucket of water may help your overheating problem

Don't complain too much about him, bill amer.

To avenge you, I've decided to overtake him  (of course, minor detail that I hopped past you as well... :)).

NOOOOOO BILL !!!!

I take down one of my 24/7 folders for one day and you do THIS ?!! And only by 50 points !!!

GRRRRR, REVENGE !!!!

BURN PALLY BURN !!!!

PS: It's not the pally I'm worried about, it's folding nicely at 61C, it's the PSU I'm worried about, it nearly burned the PSU duct I'd built. Still, I've managed to tame it but my novel PSU chimney idea flopped

Relax burcakb, you're past me again :(

Athough, I have a few more good WU's coming along

You should have tried the buckets of water on your PSU, using your chimney as a funnel

Whoa. Never thought I'd hear that name on here!
I've worked at TRL (as it's called now) for the last few years. We dropped the extra "R" a long time ago.
I'll have to search the the archives and see if anything turns up with your name on it :)

Hmpf - so this is what happens if I leave my main folder (3.4 GHz Prescott) off for a night ...

No matter...

Burkab ... just a question of a few more units until I have you back. I've got 2-3 Tinkers working at the moment anyway ;).

finally :)

Post by trodas » Thu Jul 22, 2004 2:40 pm

Hoooray, dudes, I finally made it to the first 100 SPCR folders

So I updated my signature and "wear" it now with proud statement :P
My points increased so well in past few days, because I managed to move my folding machines to now temporary empty stepbrother room, so they could run 24/7 :!: With is simply much more that just in daytime - and it seems is make wonders already :)
Im 99th now, having NO treats whatsover and there are only 19 guys in SPCR team, that are not into my Conquest list  :P 8)

Into week my production sadly went back to the normal (read slow) level, but untill that Im gonna climb hard

Prepare to be pwned, Putz

This is what will crush you:

Yeah, trodas, I've been keeping my eye on you the last couple of days. You went from teal straight to green in one day!!

As frustrating as it is to be stuck for so long at 99/100, I'm happy that you're contributing that kind of horsepower to the team. Fold on! And just hope that you don't have to go back to normal speed, because I'll be at your heels waiting

Burkab - blooming heck, you're a persistant one, aren't you :D.

Oh well - should be all hopefully finalised after the weekend (all nice and proper) ;).

True, but just for the weekend shathal, just for the weekend :)

Side note: I'll be welcoming a P4-2.4 to the fold tomorrow, hehehe

Thankfully, (at least for now), I'm ahead of you ;).

Though I see that Trodas is making a blip on my threat monitor. Admittedly, a "catching up" rate of 14 points/day is something I can live with for a while... :).

Hmmm - once I've fixed my P3 up, definately have to get that one folding too :).

Heheh :) Well, nice one, but the problem is, that I can't catch you and your PPW is still far from mine, so even if I can, you pass me again easily :)
I just need more machines  And faster ones, too. You are so lucky Im still debudging my main machine, now priming at 200x12 hapilly with 1.800Vcore, but GOD forbid setting 225x10.5, witch is almost 40Mhz lower clock, with same Vcore but a higher chipset/much higher memory voltage (both tested and passed my memtest at 225Mhz easily)...
I soon get prime errors and ocassionaly welcome BSOD too :? I quess I try more voltage on the memory and pray. If it fail, Im simply doomed to live with poor 200x12 :x

Heh - 200 x 12 isn't bad :).

I don't see what's worth being complained about there :).

In fact, 200x12 is better for folding than 225x10.5.

shathal - yep, 2400MHz is not that bad, however I more wanted higher FSB and Im failed yet to deliver it. It works, but not stable for long :? I quess I have to heatsink more or something

Putz - yea, you are right. Folding on my machine just fly :P And lovering the clock by almost 40Mhz make the folding slower, however the machine primary target is not folding

We see how far I make it, untill my folding speed sadly get back to "normal" at end of the month. It seems climbing pretty hard day to day :P

TheScarf - Dude, give them some cofien, so they get over the headache and start folding again  :)
We have to own sleeping team XtremeResources in 28 days
Don't let them wait!

Thanks for the offer shathal :D

but I'd probably stick it in my ear by mistake

I'm not very good with high-tech machinery

But Pete's sheep entrails are a different matter

I wonder what the hire charges are :?:
