Yay me, again--breaking past 500 in overall folding (currently at 496).

Well, in just a day I have to slow-down to about his speed, so Im being nice  :)

So no big deal with the overtake :P ...actually, just 800 or so points left, just finishing few WUs and ...

...sadly I probably did not manage to pull out it just for a while to the RED (means over 5000 points, IIRC) status, eh :?

19 days after I made it to the top 300, I now made it to the top 200. :D
According to EOC it will take me roughly 3 months to reach the top 100. Hmmm. There must be a way to do that faster.

I've been waiting for so long to say it...

"I'm green! I'm green!"

It probably won't last, but at least it happened :)

There's always 'someone' to spoil the SPCResque peace and quiet of a lovely sunny summers Sunday morning.

I'll bet your the sort of chap to be out desecrating the tranquility with his self propelled V8 5.7Ltr, blown hemi,... on drag pipes lawnmower before 10:00, on God's day of Worship.

Now go away and be quiet, some of us are trying to enjoy a lay-in/lazy time on one of our precious few days off. We're not all millionare playboys with excess time on our hands you know.

And be quiet about it as you leave us in peace.

Best Wishes,

Persistence pays!

SPCR now has 22 members of the "100000+ Club."

All it took was replacing the hard drive on my dead XP2400+ machine and loading Linux on it. Tonight I re-borged my ex-wife's PC, too. She hosed it (again) and she never seems to bother to load F@H on it. Maybe if I actually told her I was running it on there...

Next goal: Top 1000 folders overall. Lots of good talent coming up to delay my arrival there, though!

Hi everyone,

I'm going have to stop folding for a while until I do a review/revamp of my setup  (just when I thought I was beginning to make a half-decent contribution, too  )

Sorry burcakb :) - 'fraid you'll have to find another running-partner for a while :(

I'll get back in action as soon as I can

bill, what happened was I actually burned the motherboard.!!! Yes, I tried changing fans while the computer was on and it somehow shortcircuited and burnt the copper lines on the mobo, killing it. This is the second time an Epox board has burned on me so I'm done with that company.

....however, as I was already planning to upgrade the CPU (a lousy pally) on that box anyway.....

...I bought a brand-new-spankin' Athlon64 3000+

I also ordered a Zalman 7000B, Abit board with K8T800 Pro chipset, but it's computer fair time over here and all companies are lousy with their shipments. These will be arriving on monday, not today as previously advertised. hrrr. But I've used the time well to spot the last remaining Antec 3700 AMB in the country (there are 11 cases in the whole country, they will not be imported anymore and all were reserved), used my charms on the lady at the shop to get me one from the reserved stock.

Right now, I'm polishing my Dremel, laying out the table for fastest AS5 application, all cables, fanmates, screwdrivers, cable ties, suspension cords are ready waiting.....

So, as you can see, nature will have it's way. You were BOUND to be passed

Yeah me, once again (since I'm the only one who cares, and then not a toot's whistle more), I've moved into SPCR spot #8 (sorry Zhentar).

My output's down quite a bit as my lab is moving buildings and I've had to shut several machines off during the transition. I should be back to middling in a couple of weeks.
