I hate insomnia...i got up and made some bread and yoghurt.

Which reminded me of this clip with Lasgo, Milks Inc. and Sylver performing Insomnia live.

2 Depeche Mode remasters:
Construction Time Again and
Black Celebration. Rather interesting in DTS format. Wish I still had SACD playback

The Knife got on my nerves so im back to The Sounds. It seems to be the only music i can tolerate right now, everything else makes me want to kill stuff.

I'm going to be totally uncool, and admit listening to a pop band right now.. but:
Smashmouth - "Waste"

One of their lesser known tracks... has a really ephemeral poppy sound to it that I can't get out of my head.

Except for indie kids who gives a f*ck if it's pop or not, if it's any good then it's worth listening to. At least that's how i think about music. That being said i don't like smashmouth, but if people didn't have different opinions there would be no discussion of anything and it wouyld get boring really fast.

Perhaps not surprisingly, im listening to The Sounds - Painted By Numbers

Boogie 2nite - Booty Luv
I've had this song for days in my head, keep hearing it all over again. The place on my HDD where this song is stored must look like a crater now. I found a place... see what where we can boogie... I mean? [high pitched mode] yeahhh!.
Great God, here it comes again...

Early in the Mornin'

Negro Prison Blues & Songs from the Lomax collection. Recorded live in the Louisiana and Mississippi state prisons in the late 40's. Sung a capella, its powerful stuff.
