Keyboard question...

Post by Beyonder » Thu Apr 19, 2007 8:15 am

Does anyone know of a keyboard that has the following features:

1. Backlit
2. Mouse connects to keyboard (sort of how mac does it) - I hate cable clutter!
3. Preferably ergonomic
4. USB (no PS/2)
5. Preferably "quiet," although that may be asking for too much.

?

Any advice welcome. :)

The Logitech G15 is backlit, connected by USB and has a USB hub in it. It's quite noisy though since it has supposedly heavy-duty keys.

It has these features, and many more, too many in fact. In my opinion a keyboard shouldn't have more than a couple media keys (play/pause, volume and mute) ontop of the standard keys. I guess it depends if you are a bells and whistles guy or not  Get a UltraX flat keyboard

When will logitech make a noiseless keyboard? they sure have well-built ones although they never get around to make keystrokes a bit silent, along with mouse clicks.
