The first picture shows how it looks like at the moment:

The second picture shows the corners being sharp instead of round:

Would you know of a tweak that can do that ?

Thank you

Is there anything in Control panel >> performance >> "adjust visual effects" which could help?

It's a theme setting. Not something that can be changed via standard windows settings.

However, you can look here for an option to get what you want. Shouldn't be too hard. I would do a System Restore point before doing this however.

Another tip: get rid of those annoying space consuming frames around each window.
Change the Border padding in the advanced apperarance settings.

Thanks, that was a very good idea.
Change width of windows borders

Right click desktop and select Personalize › Window color › advanced appearance settings › Item: Border padding › default = 4
See, I wished there was something as simple as that, to change the corners from round to sharp.

damn your on the wrong side of the pond, so probably can't get it- my bad. That movie is xmas tradition over here.

A lame attempt at poking fun at our rubberized, safety net world, with rounded corners.
