I wonder if it comes with a DVI to VGA adapter?
It's the only way I can connect this card in a dual monitor setup.

I bought it from my local store: http://www.simline.com.au
Last time I checked it wasn't listed on their website but earlier I called Patrick from Simline and he has ordered me one. I was informed that it was going to take 1-2 days but I think 3-4 days is more likely.

I got my fanless Gigabyte GV-N66T128VP yesterday and would like to share some info for those who are interested in having a fanless 6600GT in their system. This card is factory overclocked and it overclocks well too. I do not underclock, yet temps are cool.
Test system:
Shuttle SB61G2 v3
P4 3.4GHz Northwood
Ballistix 1GB PC3200
WD Raptor SATA 74GB
ForceWare 71.84 WHQL
Room temp: 30° C
GPU clock: default @ 500MHz/1.12GHz
Idle temp: 61° C
After 1 hour gaming: 76° C
After 1 hour rthdribl: 87° C
** Temps are ~5° C cooler if I underclock **
3DMark03 (600MHz/1.18GHz): 9672 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=3807897
3DMark05 (600MHz/1.18GHz): 4046 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=683839
Overall, I'm very happy with this card.

For the Americans in the house... http://www.milwaukeepc.com/ListParts.asp?PTID=29&Page=7
I'm worried that the picture shows a card with fan... And I've never used or heard of this place before.

Thanks... I'm getting a GV-NX66T128VP on thursday (I hope), I guess there's little difference between the cards, except for the bus.webmal wrote:I got my fanless Gigabyte GV-N66T128VP yesterday and would like to share some info for those who are interested in having a fanless 6600GT in their system. I was a bit worried by the temps, we'll have to see how cool it stays in a SLK3000B

Sweet. I sent in about 12 product request for newegg to stock this card. Soon other suppliers will carry it and the price will hopefully drop.mjrpes wrote:yay! newegg has it in stock now!

They make it seem incompatible with the northwood core but I know that is untrue from a few post' up.System requirements: Intel Pentium 4 Prescott class processor or higher (LGA775 processor package) or AMD Sempron/Athlon
-- Just to let know our UK forum members that Fastekcomputers is selling this card for £115.00 (inc vat). This is the cheapest price that I have seen for this card on the net.

Grrr.... People actually have a choice of stores in the UK, Australia and even New Zeland and it's impossible to find one of these in Canada.mahkum2 wrote:-- Just to let know our UK forum members that Fastekcomputers is selling this card for £115.00 (inc vat). I don't want to order one from a US store. It's too much trouble.
RedSnapper -- You should call Fastek immediatly and check what type of card is going to be delivered.

NCIX has had the passive 6800 listed for a couple months, but it's yet to be in stock. I called them a while back and asked them for an ETA, and they said they couldn't give me one unless I had an order number. I wasn't inclined to give them 400 bucks just so they could tell me it was backordered indefinitely.
I've been searching for a Canadian vendor for the 6600GT, but have had no luck so far. If anyone finds a source, I'd love to hear about it.

That's a PCI-Express card unfortunately.tbadiuk wrote:For Canada- NCIX.COM seems to list it but it's out of stock? Maybe contact them?

Unfortunately, we have not been given an estimate on these cards from either our suppliers or the manufacturer. If these should come available, this will then be updated on our web site automtically. Thanks for your interest in NCIX.com!
